Margaret Cook, age 82, passed away at her residence in Erie on Tuesday, July 20, 2010.

Born in Erie on October 23, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Archangelo and Angeline (BonTempo) Lupo.
Before her retirement 10 years ago, she held several positions in the local retail market. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Delavan M. Cook, who died July 17, 2000, and all of her brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Debby Jordano and Sandee Will; a grandson, David Jordano; her best friend, Dorothy Ponsfrod, all of Erie; and several nieces and nephews.

No calling hours will be observed. Friends may attend a Memorial Service in the chapel at Calvary Cemetery on Saturday at 11 a.m., with Msgr. Daniel Magraw officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Brugger Home for Funerals, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Boulevard.
