Ruth Krill Hall Meehan, 87, of Westlake Woods passed away there peacefully Friday July 23, 2010.

She was born in Erie February 15, 1923 a daughter of the late William and Edna Opperman Krill Snyder.
Ruth was a graduate of St. Mary grade school and a 1941 graduate of East High School. She had been an operator at the phone Co. prior to her marriage. She enjoyed crocheting, was an avid bingo player and did volunteering at St. Mary's Home and West Lake Woods. She was a member of St. Jude The Apostle Church and was a founding member of Our Lady Of Peace Church. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her stepfather Earl Snyder and her husband's Nathan M. Hall , Jr. in 1969 and Gene T. Meehan in 1996, her son David Hall and two daughter in laws Karen Hall and Donna Hall. Survivors include her son Gary Hall of Erie and two daughters Carol Monocello, husband Michael, and Gayle Winslow, husband Raymond all of Erie. Two Stepsons Michael Meehan and Thomas Meehan, wife Kathy all of Erie. Two sisters Donna Mae Barczak, husband Joe and Joann Hrinko, husband Charles both of Erie. Two Brothers William Krill of Erie and James Krill, Wife Barbara of South Dayton, New York. Ruth is also survived by ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Friends are invited to call at the Brugger Home For Funerals 1595 West 38th Street Sunday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Services Monday at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Jude The Apostle Church at 10:00a..m Interment in Calvary Cemetery. |
